The hotel, perched on a cliff over the sea in a breathtaking position in Capri, offers from everywhere one of the most beautiful views in the world. Once a summer house of a Russian Prince, it is now a boutique hotel with an exquisite décor much loved by King Farouk of Egypt who was booking his suite for the year. Summary: 

Join the team at the Relais Chateaux Caesar Augustus Hotel, and contribute to creating an unforgettable experience for our guests. Caesar Augustus Hotels is looking for a dynamic and passionate Sommelier for the Summer Season 2026, ready to support our exceptional restaurant team.

 Main Responsibilities:

·         Advice, selling and wine service in the various food & beverage outlets

·         Ensuring a smooth beverage service at all times

·         Helping to design the wine list

·         Wine purchasing in close cooperation with the Purchasing & Cost Controlling Manager

·         Cellar organisation and inventory

·         Helping to lead, train and develop the service team as well as providing training and education

·         Other tasks may be assigned according to business needs
 


We Required :

·         Education as restaurant specialist, hotel management school, 3 liv. AIS course required

·         Can create your own multi-course pairings

·         Very good knowledge of wine and sparkling wine as well as café, spirits and soft drinks

·         Storytelling – you can bring the stories about the wines to the guests

·         You are a bright, well-groomed person who loves to interact with our guests

·         Highly quality awareness

·         You enjoy working in a team

·         You are flexible, resilient, conscientious, detail- and customer-oriented

·         Have a good command English and French
