The main responsibility of our Bartender is to ensure that our service runs smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional guest experience. A Bartender will assist in preparing the bar for service, serving food and preparing drinks to a high standard , maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout.
The Bartender plays a crucial role in ensuring the guests have a pleasant and memorable experience, and therefore a keen eye for detail and enjoyment of working in a team-oriented environment is essential.
A Bartender
- Makes signature cocktails efficiently to the correct specifications
- Prepares off-menu drinks for guests using mixology knowledge
- Maintains the bar back area throughout the service, ensuring the beverage items in the restaurant are topped up throughout service
- Hosts the lounge throughout the afternoon, making drinks and organising beverage room services
- Prepares and serves drinks to guests in the restaurant with a high level of hospitality
- Maintains stock levels by monitoring and passing on any orders that need to be placed
- Assists the sommelier team in the maintenance of wastage and stock transfer sheets
- Sets up and closes down the bar at the start / end of each day
- Previous bar experience in a similar establishment.
- Mixology experience.
- Understanding of spirits and liquors.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards and the ability to follow them strictly.
- Understands the importance of allergens and the potential effect that they can have, ensuring that food is safe for customers with food allergies.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the demands of the restaurant.
Salary: from £27,495 to £31,005
Gratuities are allocated on a points basis, depending on development tiers. Although variable, average levels are projected as being from £153 to £460 per month.
Hours: 45 hours per week.
