The Food Expeditor works as a highly functional team, providing guests with truly exceptional service within a polished yet comfortable atmosphere. The Food Expeditor partner closely with the celebrated Twin Farms' kitchen to know our fine culinary offerings and exquisitely cater to guests' needs. The Food Expeditor is expected to follow the instructions of the Dining Room Manager, Morning and Evening Supervisors, and General Managers of the Resort with consistency and dependability while working in cooperation with all departments.
- The Food Expeditor’s main goal is to ensure the efficient flow of orders from the dining room to the kitchen. It is vital for the expeditor to maintain a positive relationship between Front of the House and Back of the House. The Food Expeditor reports to the Dining Room Manager, Morning or Evening Supervisors and Sommelier.
- The Food Expeditor will work on creating a daily expo sheet, reviewing guests’ dietaries and requests and will ensure that that information is communicated to the kitchen
- The Food Expeditor will ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority.
- Other daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: Stocking items as needed, Polishing silverware, and glassware, Bussing tables, Rearranging dining room as needed, General cleaning, such as sweeping, mopping, removing trash.
- Assisting room services as needed.
- The Food Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that the dining room, common areas in the Main House, and service areas are kept professional and clean and assist the Dining Room Manager in completion of projects as needed.
