Uberto Restaurant at Quercus is seeking a warm, polished, and detail-oriented Host to join our dynamic hospitality team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for restaurant guests, overseeing the arrival and departure experience, guest communications, and reservation-related coordination while working closely with our front-of-house team.

In this role, you will create welcoming and memorable first and last impressions while ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, organization, and guest care. The ideal candidate thrives in a refined hospitality environment, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and takes genuine pleasure in anticipating guest needs and creating personalized experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome and escort guests through the Uberto dining experience, providing personalized introductions and recognizing special occasions, returning visitors, and individual preferences.
  • Manage restaurant reservations and guest communications through Resy and other communication platforms, including phone calls, emails, inquiries, and reservation modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed guest profiles, documenting preferences, allergies, special occasions, and other relevant information to enhance current and future dining experiences.
  • Coordinate guest arrivals, seating, and reservation timing with restaurant managers and service staff to ensure a seamless flow of service.
  • Prepare and organize menus, reservation details, special occasion amenities, and other personalized touches prior to each service.
  • Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming reception area while assisting with guest belongings and providing attentive departure service.
  • Support the broader front-of-house team with service preparation, dining room upkeep, table resets, and other hospitality responsibilities as needed.

  • Previous experience in a host, guest relations, or front-of-house hospitality position preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a naturally warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Ability to multitask effectively, manage guest requests, and remain composed in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Strong written communication and computer skills, with the ability to learn and navigate reservation and guest management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with restaurant management and service staff while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
  • Strongly preferred: Experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality establishments.
