Job Overview

The Park Hotel Kenmare is one of Ireland’s most prestigious five-star luxury destinations, renowned for its exceptional hospitality, refined atmosphere, and dedication to excellence. We are seeking a professional, passionate, and customer-focused Bartender to join our incredible team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding bar service, crafting high-quality beverages, and creating memorable guest experiences that reflect the elegance and reputation of The Park Hotel Kenmare.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks to the highest standards.
• Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to guests in line with the hotel’s luxury hospitality standards.
• Maintain expert knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar menu offerings.
• Offer recommendations and engage guests to enhance their overall experience.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, including restocking and reporting shortages.
• Handle cash, card payments, and billing accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the restaurant and hotel team to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold responsible service of alcohol guidelines.
• Contribute to the creation of new cocktails and seasonal drink menus when required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high-end bar, hotel, or restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and wines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.
