Housekeepers care for and prepare guest rooms and common areas to the service standards and expectations of Twin Farms. From room make-ups and turndowns to full room turnovers, this role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and pride in presentation.
Start Date: April 2026.
Daily tasks involve renewing, refreshing, straightening, cleaning, clearing, and sanitizing guest accommodations and shared spaces. Housekeeping team members must be able to respond quickly and efficiently to changing guest needs and priorities.
Essential functions include (but are not limited to):
Daily preparation: inventory check and loading of supplies for the shift
Room make-up / turndown service: remove trash and laundry; sanitize and clean bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and eating areas; dust; vacuum; make beds; replenish amenities (firewood, toiletries, etc.); reset fireplaces as needed
Room turnovers: prepare rooms for guest check-in, including stripping and making beds with fresh linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities
Common area upkeep: maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas
Laundry support (as needed): gather and transport linens and laundry; load machines, fold, store, and deliver items as required
Closet restocking: inventory and restock housekeeping closets with linens and amenities
Department space upkeep: maintain laundry building, bathrooms, break rooms, and office areas
Vehicle use: operate a company vehicle carefully; ensure vehicles are cleared of supplies and refuse at the end of each shift
Efficiency and accuracy: complete work thoroughly and on time while maintaining service standards
Reporting: observe and report maintenance issues, missing inventory, or damage
Other duties: assist with additional tasks as assigned
Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury service standards
Positive, “can-do” attitude and pride in maintaining an exceptional guest environment
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and strong follow-through
Team-oriented and comfortable collaborating with other departments
Clear and professional communication
Comfortable with infrequent use of cleaning supplies and chemicals
Safety-minded and attentive to safe work practices
Professional presentation and a guest-ready demeanor during occasional guest interaction
Good judgment, discretion, and the ability to work calmly in a high-expectation environment
Flexibility in schedule as business needs change; holiday and peak-period availability is typical
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Required Education and/or Training
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
Familiarity with safe use of cleaning products and basic cleaning tools/equipment
High school diploma, vocational degree, or equivalent
