The Guest Activities Manager is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the guest activities and concierge experience at Twin Farms. As a key leader within the Rooms Division, this role serves as a primary point of contact for delivering exceptional, personalized guest experiences.

This position blends hands-on guest engagement with operational leadership, ensuring seamless coordination of recreational programming, concierge services, and interdepartmental collaboration. The Guest Activities Manager oversees daily operations, supports team members, and ensures all guest interactions reflect the high-touch, anticipatory service standards synonymous with Twin Farms.

Essential Functions

Leadership & Oversight

  • Supervise, train, and support Guest Activities Coordinators and related staff.
  • Lead daily operations of the Activities function, ensuring smooth execution of all scheduled and ad hoc guest experiences.
  • Ensure team adherence to service standards, safety protocols, and property policies.

Guest Experience & Concierge Services

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for guests, delivering warm welcomes and personalized service throughout their stay.
  • Oversee guest itineraries, ensuring all activities, reservations, and special requests are executed seamlessly.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update guest profiles, preferences, and service notes.

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with Dining, Housekeeping, Grounds, Maintenance, and Reservations to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Ensure all recreational facilities, equipment, and activity areas are prepared, maintained, and presented to Twin Farms standards.
  • Oversee inventory, maintenance, and organization of recreational equipment (bikes, kayaks, skis, etc.).

Activity Programming

  • Develop, promote, and lead recreational activities including outdoor and indoor experiences (e.g., hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing).
  • Ensure all activities are executed safely and aligned with guest expectations.
  • Support special events, including setup and breakdown of activity-related elements and seasonal programming.

Administrative & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records, including vehicle logs, guest requests, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of equipment and vehicles.
  • Assist with tracking expenses and supporting cost control efforts related to activities and supplies.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience guiding and supporting team members.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in activities, recreation, or hospitality operations (lead or supervisory experience preferred).
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong communication skills across departments and with guests.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable operating vehicles and recreational equipment safely.

 

Education/Training

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.

High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or related experience preferred.

 

Working Conditions

Fast-paced, physically active environment with both indoor and outdoor responsibilities.

Requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working in varying weather conditions (snow, rain, heat).

Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Occasional need to adjust schedule based on operational needs.

Compensation:$60,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience.
