What you’ll be doing in this role:

• Welcoming guests warmly and escorting them to their tables

• Presenting menus and explaining daily specials

• Taking accurate food and drink orders using the POS system

• Providing menu recommendations and answering questions about ingredients or allergies

• Preparing and maintaining tables, including linens, silverware, and glasses

• Serving food and drinks while ensuring proper presentation and cleanliness

• Clearing tables and handling bill payments

• Communicating orders and special requests to kitchen staff

• Following health and safety regulations

• Delivering friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Skilled in taking and managing orders accurately and efficiently

• Experienced with POS systems for order entry, payments, and account management

• Familiar with proper table setting and service techniques

• Knowledgeable about food safety, hygiene standards, and best practices

• Experienced in wines, cocktails, and beverages to assist guests with selections

• An effective communicator with guests and colleagues

• Highly organized and able to multitask under pressure

• Guest-oriented, always seeking to provide excellent service and enhance guest experience

• A proactive problem-solver, able to handle unexpected situations efficiently

• A team player who collaborates across departments to deliver top service

• Willing and eager to learn, mentor others, and continuously improve skills
