An hour and a half from Amsterdam, twenty minutes by boat from Den Helder — between the land and the sea — lies Texel, an island in the Frisian archipelago in the Netherlands.
It is where chef Jef Schuur, hand in hand with his wife Nadine Mögling, has chosen to open a Michelinstarred restaurant and several beautiful modern suites in what was once a presbytery.

With the changing tides, chef Jef cooks with local products such as Wadden Sea cockles with Texel lamb bacon. Nadine, a sommelier, is an expert in European wines and uses her extensive knowledge of organic and natural wines to create subtle and unique pairings to compliment the cuisine's harmonious contrasts of tastes and textures.

We are proud to be one of the 580 members of Relais & Châteaux, an association of worldwide independent hotel and restaurant owners.

We offer our guests an unique, luxury experience in one of our 12 suites in combination with our gastronomic menu in the restaurant.

AS CHEF DE PARTIE

Under the direction and collaboration with the Chef de Cuisine, you will have to:

  • Monitor the quality.
  • You will carry out, coordinate and manage in a rational manner all the operations. 
  • Assist in assessing supply requirements and managing inventories and orders.
  • Comply with HACCP and safety standards
  • We encourage creativity

  • You have significant experience of at least 3 year in a similar position and establishment.
  • You are motivated, have a keen sense of organization and teamwork.
  • Besides technical skills, your dynamism and creativity will make the difference to become a driving force in our development.
  • Fluency in English is recommended.
