Receptionist
Détail de l'offre
Pale Hall, a five red star destination country house hotel in beautiful Snowdonia, has a new opportunity for a well presented, confident and articulate Receptionist. With extensive growth and investment plans for the Estate over the coming months, Pale Hall is a very exciting place to be!
Our immaculately presented Receptionists are the face of Pale Hall, handling all the arrangements for our guests, giving a warm welcome on arrival and making sure that every stay is a memorable experience. We are strengthening the team with another full time colleague, carrying out five 8 hour shifts per week. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who enjoys a customer facing role, has experience in hospitality and a talent for attention to detail.
Our Front of House department operates three Reception shifts per day, 7am to 3.30 pm, 10am to 6.30 pm, and 2pm to 10.30 pm. Flexibility is expected in carrying out early, middle or late shifts on days as required, both midweek and weekend. Exceptional personal presentation is essential, competent IT skills, preferably at least one year in a similar hospitality role, and the confidence to engage well with our guests. The ability to commute independently around the shift times is essential. Duties involve taking reservations for bedrooms, restaurants and private events, both online and by direct call/email, processing information, communicating effectively with other departments, carrying out check-in and check-out processes, responsibility for cash and card payments on the shift, and associated reception duties as required.
The only AA Five Red Star hotel in Wales, with AA Three Rosettes and the coveted Michelin Green Star for food sustainability, Pale Hall currently offers 22 individually designed bedrooms, suites and Garden Suites full of original features. The Henry Robertson fine dining room with tranquil views over the lawns serves our four and seven course tasting menus, and the rustic Huntsman bistro offers more relaxed dining from a traditional la carte menu.
We value our people, and do all we can to make Palé Hall a rewarding and fulfilling place to work. We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, onsite parking, free meals on duty, generous hotel discounts and monthly gratuities.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK, and be confident that they can commute to the hotel within the shift patterns and requirements of the role. A full driving licence is preferred in order to assist with the valet parking of guest cars.
