Hôtel Vermelho in Melides is a luxury oasis nestled in the picturesque Alentejo landscape, providing our guests with a truly memorable experience. Our restaurant, Xtian, is a culinary gem that celebrates the authenticity of traditional portuguese cuisine, with a focus on Alentejo cuisine. We seek a highly motivated and passionate Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure a high service standard, unforgettable experiences for our customers, and a cozy atmosphere.


  • Fluency in English and/or Portuguese (knowledge of other languages would be appreciated)

  • Passion for hospitality and quality service.

  • Ease of learning and communication;

  • Ease of working as part of a team;

  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills;

  • Responsible, punctual and assiduous;

  • Dynamic and proactive;

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, weekends and public holidays.

  • Preferably with own transport
